Senior Manager – Head of Compliance

Celia has more than 25 years’ experience across management, operations, people development and IT. Since 2020 her work has focused on insolvency, supporting the firm’s Insolvency Practitioners and case teams in the administration and oversight of formal appointments. As Head of Compliance, Celia leads regulatory oversight at Coots & Boots. She has extensive practical experience of internal file reviews, quality assurance and regulatory processes, and manages the firm’s preparation for ICAEW monitoring visits and its programme of independent compliance reviews. She also plays an active role in developing procedures, strengthening internal controls and delivering training across the firm. At Coots & Boots, Celia combines her operational and management background with her insolvency and compliance experience to help maintain high professional standards across the practice. Her approach is practical and hands-on, with a particular focus on ensuring that regulatory requirements translate into effective processes, consistent case management and continuous improvement.
